The Aegean sea is full of allure and has an enchanting and enigmatic beauty that is perfect for celebrating love in Santorini. That is why the village of Oia in Santorini, Greece forms the perfect backdrop for an intimate and romantic wedding elopement at the Canaves Oia Suites. With creative planner Adesola Tolefe from Elizabeth Reine at the helm it goes without saying that this beautiful scene creates a wanderlust like never before. The deep blue of the Aegean, the red and black cliffs of the caldera and the whitewashed colors of the Canaves Oia Suites offers a “less is more” elegance and extravagance in a jaw-dropping setting that is sure to bring your wedding to life and leave an indelible memory in your and your guests’ minds forever.

The Canaves Oia is a 5 star, luxury resort boasting hotels, suites and villa accommodations. Carved into the cliffside, the Canaves Oia Suites were caves previously built to produce and store wine 400 years ago and now renovated into 24 luxurious suites, each with its own private pool or Jacuzzi or infinity edge pool. With 10-15 of your closest friends and family you can relax knowing that the beautiful views from the Canaves Oia suites mean that you can have a hassle free and extremely beautiful wedding celebration with no expenses spared. Enjoying the best in dining services, on a private terrace overlooking the sea.

The minimalist white of Santorini means that the options for wedding color decor are endless. We chose, blush, rose gold, gold, cream and navy blue with other light pastel shades which stand out beautifully against the white and blue. Betty of Betty flowers used carefully selected blush, cream and light orange roses, candles, lanterns and candelabras to create an intimate and romantic feel to ceremony and table decor. The bride is a vision of elegance and grace in luxury designer dress Cleopatra by Amanda Wakeley and stunning earrings and ring by masterpiece jeweler Poniros from the volcanic flower collection. The volcanic rock inspired bracelet adds a sophisticated earthy touch to the whole ensemble. The bridesmaids were a vision in Kelsey Rose and Freya Rose shoes. The groom and his friends looked distinguished in Scabal suits and Tom Ford shoes. In addition to having an incredibly beautiful wedding at the Canaves Oia, enjoy a five-hour sunset cruise on a luxurious catamaran which you can rent solely for you and your guests or a sunset tour of the village of Oia. The tour is guaranteed to leave you breathless.
